N.O.L.A. BAYOU BASH 5

NOLA BAYOU BASH 5 : THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

NOVEMBER 10 - NOVEMBER 13, 2022

N.O.L.A. BACKGROUND:

In early 2011, Louis Jenkins (one of the NBB founders) approached Nichol Poyntz with an idea for a line dance event.  Louis and Nichol both started line dancing back in the 90's and had traveled to several states/regions to dance.  Louis, being born and raised in New Orleans, had a vision of bringing a national line dance event to his home town...and the rest is history!

The inaugural N.O.L.A. Bayou Bash (NBB1) was held in November 2012. Line dancers descended upon New Orleans and turned Bourbon Street and Jackson Square out.  FUN was had by ALL in attendance!  In 2014 (NBB2), the Bayou Bash kicked off with a Bayou Bash parade.  Line dancers literally shut Canal and Bourbon Street down. It was an awesome time and definitely one to remember. In 2016 (NBB3), there was so much interest in the event that it sold out in 1 day. Again, a good time was had by ALL in attendance. In 2018 (NBB4), the Bayou Bash kicked off with the traditional parade again, HOWEVER this time we had floats and ended with a band performance to get everyone in the party mood.

After a LONG break due to COVID, we are ready to go. The plans for 2022 are coming together VERY nicely! We sure hope you're ready!! We're hoping to make the FINAL NOLA Bayou Bash (NBB5) one for the memory books!!!!!
